Digging Graves
02:53
|

Gotta stop this fearful panic state
It’s a threat. Not the current phase we face
And with these lies, they’re treating us like mice
Going round and round the wheel
That is all, it won’t get any worse
That’s our selves nailing coffins
Digging our own graves
All this noise that distorts democracy
Will destroy like a self fulfilling prophecy
That will burn our future to the ground oh,
As it falls………
That is all, it won’t get any worse
That’s our selves nailing coffins
Digging our own graves
Is that all?.. Are we digging our own graves?

The Blade
03:29
|

We met each other in a somber
Summer that felt like winter
My life before her tasted bitter
But then within her shelter felt better
She gave me a dose that I couldn't hold
And I broke out off control when left alone
She poured out a bleeding That came with the blade
I slipped in the poison deep into my veins
We grew dependent of one another
Nothing else mattered
The world around us started to scatter
But you cannot live like that forever
She gave me a dose that I couldn't hold
And I broke out off control when left alone
She poured out a bleeding That came with the blade
I slipped in the poison deep into my veins
We were mostly dead before the verdict was read
And all we knew is we were doomed
And in the noose
You can't run, no.
I ain't who held the blade
But still I am to blame.

Astronauts

I was going to be an astronaut
You were going to be a star
We were going to conquer the world and
Carve our names on Mars
Tell me what happened to all the words we used to preach
Tell me what happened to the dreams we all believed
*When we worked at the warehouse* by the railroad tracks
Sugar cane and alcohol, rum for the middle class
I was going to be an astronaut
You were going to be a star
We were going to conquer the world and
Carve our names on Mars
Explain where all those ideas ended up
Spell it out because we were going out reach for the sky
It ain’t over yet no, not until we pass
Fiery hearts and alcohol, spikes for the middle class
I was going to meet the Armstrongs
You were going to be a movie star
We were going to conquer the world and
Carve our names on Mars
We are not finished yet babe
We can still get so far
We ain’t done until we’re dead let’s
Carve out names on Mars

I was born when out came the wolves
Destined to a life on the run
Feeling like an exile as if I had a choice
Yeah, I was born when out came the wolves
Locked in a cell with open doors
I could escape but I would fall
All my love belongs
To These four trusty chords
I we were born with a scent of teenage years
Up against a brave new world and so many fears
Feeling like an exiles because of what we hear
Yeah, I were born with a scent of teenage years
Locked in a cell with open doors
We could escape but we would fall
All my love belongs
To These four trusty chords
All my love belongs
To These four trusty chords
This is our generation this is an open door
This is our time to sore
This radical obligation, it is all we know
This is what we’re born for
Locked in a cell with open doors
We could escape but we would fall
All my love belongs
To These four trusty chords
All my love belongs
To These four trusty chords
